Tyre Recycling Systems Australia has also worked on a contractual basis with the CSIRO to design and construct a vertical column separator which sorts waste product during a food production process. One of this more recent designs was a copper recycling plant, whereby waste wire is striped off it's plastic coasting to enable easier access to its recycling copper core. Recent adaptations to this machine have now made recycling of heavy cable as easier task.
